Decorating a Small Home

Having a small house sometimes gives a limited space. We do not have enough floor space, so we have to put emphasis more on the upper parts of our home. Using light paint colors for the ceiling and hang up draperies will make our home look larger.

Place mirrors and mirrored accessories to create an illusion of a bigger space but do not put too many accessories, it will make the space look cluttered.

For a small bedroom, use a closet organizer or under bed storage instead of a dresser. Keep your bed simple and use neutral color for the bed cover.

Add light fixture in some dark areas of the homes and avoid placing unnecessary things on the floor.

Try to enlarge the doorways and add display shelf on the top of the cabinets where you can place some of your items.

Also, add some outdoor furniture to your yard to extend your home.
